Hello,
my
name
is Barbora Krukow

I was born into the freedom of post-communist Czechoslovakia, right after the Velvet Revolution. I am an activist and educator with a unique cultural perspective. My family in Czechoslovakia experienced oppression under both Nazis and Communists. Now I live in Odense, Denmark with my Danish husband and son.

I studied social pedagogy in the Czech Republic at Masaryk University, with a focus on the techniques of Theatre of the Oppressed. My commitment belongs to social justice, human rights, feminism, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I also embrace veganism, sustainability, and unconventional practices like dumpster diving. This passion is reflected in my engaging, effective, and transformative workshops.

My passion for history, fashion, art, and theater forms in my innovative and creative teaching methods. Through interactive tools like Theater of the Oppressed,
I cultivate critical thinking and encourage students to explore challenging topics in a safe, supportive space. This approach fosters understanding and empathy.

My workshops go beyond education; they are a call to action. Participants develop the tools and confidence to become agents for positive change.

Adding to my passion for social justice, I am also one of the organizers of the
Femi Festival Odense, a platform dedicated to exploring feminist ideas and empowering individuals.
